The International Health Service Collaborative (IHSC) is a team of students who plan and execute sustainable health solutions in underserved populations through an evidence-based approach. It is unique in that it has an interdisciplinary structure, hosting students, faculty, and professionals from the University of South Florida Colleges of Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy and Physical Therapy.

The mission of IHSC includes (a) promoting sustainable projects for underserved communities at home and abroad, (b) fostering a forum for interdisciplinary interaction within USF Health and the institution as a whole, and (c) developing well-rounded health professionals.

By approaching our project comprehensively, members have the chance to work together and achieve a well-rounded perspective in the successes and challenges of implementing sustainable health projects both locally and around the world, extending the collaborative to remote communities in Tampa, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, and Panama.
